Modules

IRMA currently consists of twelve integrated modules, which cover four distinct functional areas Foundation, Administration, Compliance and Reporting. The IRMA functional modules can operate independently or in an integrated manner. IRMA allows for information to be shared between modules, but are designed in such a way that the information for each module is held separately allowing for granular security and distributed administration, if that is required.

All modules access a common list of staff, students and external collaborators. This allows for comprehensive analysis of internal performance and external collaboration. All modules access a common organisation's structure, which can be tailored to individual organisations needs and can be maintained through a re-organisation facility.

IRMA complies with the Australian requirement for the Excellence in Research in Australia (ERA) framework and this sub-system gives users a comprehensive overview of researchers' performance with grants, research outputs and HDR supervision.
